UC Application and Common Application open on August 1- begin working on your applications

Finalize the Brag Sheet for any letters of recommendation you may need

Continue drafting your college essays/personal statements

Decide if you are applying Early Action (non-binding) or Early Decision (binding) to any college

Finalize your college list in Scoir

Ask for letters of recommendation from teachers and your counselor, providing them with a Brag Sheet

Common Application: input your counselor and teacher(s) in the recommendation section

Even though the UCs and CSUs do not accept letters of recommendation, you will need them if you want to apply for their Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) which provides additional assistance to low-income and historically underserved students

Check the portal on a daily basis of the college you are attending- You will receive important information regarding housing, registering for classes, etc.

Indicate where you are enrolling in Scoir- this is where your official final transcript will be sent in June
