College and Career Center

The online 2025–26 FAFSA form is now available to all students and families. Filling out a FAFSA or CADAA is a graduation requirement. All Seniors who need financial aid for four-year college, community college or trade schools should fill out either the FAFSA or CADAA form.  

Students and their parents/guardians should sign up now for a StudentAid.gov account if they do not already have one.  Students and families interested in completing the online 2025–26 FAFSA form can do so at this LINK.

AUSD will be hosting several “Cash for College” events in January-February. We will have financial advisors available to help students and parents/guardians with their FAFSA/CADAA forms.  Once dates have been confirmed, we will send out additional information.

Join us in the Media Center from 6-8pm to receive help on your FAFSA/CADAA financial aid application. 

What to bring:

-Student and Parent Social Security #'s (or Alien Registration #'s if you are not a US Citizen. If you don't have either, you may be eligible for the CADAA.

-2023 federal tax forms such as 1040, W-2, bank statements, investment statements, etc. You will not have to reveal this information to anyone, but you will need it to complete the forms. If your family does not file taxes and/or receives public assistance, please bring those statements.

Submit your FAFSA by March 3 for your best chance to receive a Cal Grant. Cal Grants can be used at any University of California, California State University or California Community College, as well as qualifying independent and career colleges or technical schools in California.
